YANGON, MYANMAR (6 April 2017) — Myanmar’s growth should accelerate this year and the next, driven by a firming recovery in the major industrial economies and the government’s continued reforms, says a new Asian Development Bank (ADB) report launched today.
PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA (10 December 2014)– In an effort to highlight the contribution of youth to the Greater Mekong Subregion, the Asian Development Bank is assisting 36 national youth representatives from Mekong countries on a journey of learning, to culminate in a youth message to the 5th GMS Summit to be held in Bangkok, Thailand next week.

YANGON, MYANMAR (10 December 2014) – Six Myanmar youth representatives today embarked on an Asian Development Bank-sponsored journey of learning through Mekong countries to develop and deliver a youth message at the 5th Greater Mekong Subregion Summit, 19-20 December in Bangkok.
YANGON, MYANMAR (4 December 2014) – The Asian Development Bank and Government of Australia are providing combined assistance of $10.5 million to promote private sector development in Greater Mekong Subregion countries. Myanmar will be a major recipient of this assistance.
As Myanmar opens its borders for business, it needs to develop its road network to drive economic growth and take advantage of its strategic location in the Greater Mekong Subregion.
