MANILA, PHILIPPINES (12 December 2018) — Senior officials of the Greater Mekong Subregion will convene this week at the 10th GMS Economic Corridors Forum (ECF-10) in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar to discuss ways to fast-track infrastructure development and boost growth along key economic corridors connecting the subregion.
MANILA, PHILIPPINES (10 December 2018) — The Asian Development Bank has approved a $250 million loan to enhance cross-border trade opportunities and improve urban infrastructure and services in Lincang Prefecture in the People’s Republic of China.
VIENTIANE, LAO PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC (16 October 2018) —The Asian Development Bank and the Government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic today signed grant agreements worth $125.5 million in total for three projects in the tourism and urban sectors.

Myanmar is enhancing the competitiveness of Mawlamyine, Hpa-An, and Myawaddy, three towns at the western end of the East–West Economic Corridor in the Greater Mekong Subregion.
VIENTIANE, LAO PEOPLE’S DEMOCRACTIC REPUBLIC (17 September 2018) — The Asian Development Bank’s Board of Directors has approved a $48 million grant to help improve urban environmental services and enhance economic connectivity in Paksan and Thakhek, two of the least developed towns along the Greater Mekong Subregion Central Corridor in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

HONG KONG, CHINA (2 February 2018) — The Asian Development Bank today signed a $100 million loan facility agreement with China Everbright International Limited to help a series of municipal waste-to-energy plants in primary and secondary cities in the Mekong Delta.
