Roundtable Discussion on Financing Health Care Access for Migrants in the GMS

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) organized the Roundtable Discussion on Financing Health Care Access for Migrants in the GMS on 15 August 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. The participants were representatives from (i) Ministry of Health of Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Viet Nam; (ii) National Health Commission of People’s Republic of China; (ii) Ministry of Health and Sports of Myanmar; (iii) Ministry of Public Health of Thailand; (iv) Ministry of Labor; (v) Ministry Social Welfare; (vi) development partners; and (vii) non-government organizations. The overall objective of the roundtable discussion was to find solution for more robust health financing mechanisms to ensure better health care access for migrants in the GMS.
