The Sixth Meeting of the Greater Mekong Subregion Working Group on Agriculture (WGA-6) was held in Bangkok, Thailand on 13-14 October 2009. The meeting had the following objectives:  

• identify critical WGA strategic interventions that address issues on food security, agricultural trade facilitation, and climate change;
• review and refocus the WGA priority initiatives under the Core Agriculture Support Program as reflected in the Vientiane Plan of Action; and 
• mobilize support from development partners to implement Core Agriculture Support Program initiatives.
