Ministers from the governments of Cambodia, the People’s Republic of China, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam, met in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar on 10 September 2015 for the 20th Ministerial Meeting of the Greater Mekong Subregion Economic Cooperation Program.

The 35th Meeting of the GMS Tourism Working Group (TWG-35) was held in Da Nang, Viet Nam on 16 June 2015, attended by representatives of the National Tourism Organizations (NTOs) of ve GMS countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, ailand, and Viet Nam), the Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office (MTCO), and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Representatives of PRC were unable to join.

ADB Loan to Enhance Urban Services in Towns Along GMS Economic Corridor

HA NOI, VIET NAM (3 December 2015) – The Asian Development Bank has approved a $100 million loan to support government efforts to boost urban and water services in Bac Giang, Mong Cai and Sa Pa, three towns located along the North-South Economic Corridor within the Greater Mekong Subregion.
